It makes sense that Destination Books will be at the DeKalb History Center for a couple days this week as part of the center’s History Book Sale.

When I travel I like to visit museums and the photo collage shows just a few of the places that I have already been to this year.  Top Row Left to Right  The British Museum, London; Victoria and Albert Museum, London; Bottom Row The U.S. Space and Rocket Museum (with grandson), Huntsville, Alabama; The Museum of International Folk Art, Santa Fe.

I will be there with some vintage offerings along with selected new books.

The DeKalb History Center is located in the Historic DeKalb County Courthouse in downtown Decatur.  Book sale hours are Wednesday (8/5) noon to 4 and Thursday (8/6) noon to 7 p.m. with a Happy Hour from 5 to 7 p.m.

One other note: Destination Books will be at the Carter Center’s Freedom Farmer’s Market on Saturday morning August 8th. What a week!
